Infant & Toddler Programs
Our Infants and toddler classrooms and set up to meet their needs. Infants are full of curiosity about the world around them and we help nurture that curiosity by cuddling and playing with familiar objects. Naps, meals times and play are all kept to a routine to keep our little ones happy. Babies will learn through our teachers reading and singing to them as well as being introduced to things through the senses. Touch, hear, smell, taste, and of course sight! Toddlers are going to be introduced to structured activities like centers and circle time. We will start to teach things like colors and work to enhance their vocabulary. We will work on basic self -help skills like putting toys back in the toy bin or using a spoon. Children will be encouraged to share and work on fine motor skills through toys, games and basic puzzles.
Preschool Age Programs
This is where the skills that our toddlers learned in our program will help them succeed in academic and social skills. We will work on building a larger vocabulary and start to learn simple number, color and alphabet skills. We have so much fun in these classrooms as children begin to verbalize what they want and enjoy. Children will be creative with art, music and pretend play. We use the A BEKA curriculum to teach our preschoolers math, language and science. The older the preschoolers get the more structured the day becomes. They begin to feel comforted by knowing what will happen next.
